Terms of Service
Last updated: July 3, 2026
Agreement
By creating an account or connecting an inbox to Syve you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Syve is operated by Hoffmann Engineering, a sole proprietorship registered in Denmark ("we", "us").
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for what happens under your account. You must be 18 or older and legally allowed to grant Syve access to the mailbox you connect. If you connect a mailbox that belongs to an employer, you confirm you have permission to do so.
Acceptable use
Do not use Syve to break the law, infringe someone else's rights, spam, harass, reverse-engineer the service, or attempt to access data that is not yours. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
Service availability
Syve is a live product under active development. Features may change, downtime happens, and briefings are AI-generated and can be wrong. Do not rely on Syve as your only source of truth for anything time-critical or legally binding.
Billing
Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. Your card is only charged when the trial ends. You can cancel any paid plan at any time from your account; cancellation stops future charges and access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Your content
You keep ownership of your emails, calendar events, strategy documents, and everything else you connect or upload. You grant Syve the minimum license needed to store and process that content so the service works for you — nothing more.
Warranty and liability
Syve is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Hoffmann Engineering is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages arising from your use of the service. Total liability in any twelve-month period is capped at the amount you paid Syve in that period, or 100 EUR, whichever is greater.
Termination
You can stop using Syve and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, sections about ownership, warranty, liability, and governing law survive.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Disputes are handled by the competent Danish courts, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you a stronger local forum.
