Cookie & Tracking Notice
Last updated: July 3, 2026
The short version
Syve does not use advertising cookies and does not sell tracking data. What we store in your browser is what the app itself needs to sign you in and remember your preferences.
What we store in your browser
- Session — a token so you stay signed in between visits. Stored in local storage by the auth library.
- Preferences — your theme (light / dark) and small UI choices.
- Referral — if you arrived through a referral link, the referral code so it can be attributed on signup.
Analytics
Syve uses privacy-respecting product analytics to count page views and understand which features are used. Analytics data is aggregated, does not include the contents of your emails or calendar, and is not shared with advertisers.
Third-party sign-in
When you sign in with Microsoft, Microsoft may set its own cookies on its domain to run the OAuth flow. Those cookies are governed by Microsoft's privacy policy, not this one.
Turning it off
You can clear browser storage at any time from your browser settings. Doing so signs you out and resets preferences. To stop Syve processing your data entirely, disconnect your accounts or delete your Syve account.
