Who runs Syve

Syve is operated by Hoffmann Engineering, a sole proprietorship registered in Denmark. You can reach the operator, Michael Hoffmann, at michael@syve.app. Under EU law Hoffmann Engineering is the data controller for personal data processed through Syve.

What Syve reads

When you connect a Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com account, Syve reads your messages and calendar events through the official Microsoft Graph API. When you connect Google Calendar, Syve reads your events through Google's Calendar API. Syve reads only what it needs to build your briefing, drafts, and meeting audit: message content, headers, attachments and links referenced in messages, calendar events, and the strategy documents you upload.

What Syve does with it

The data is used to rank your inbox against your goals, draft replies in your voice, audit your meetings, and generate your morning briefing and end-of-day recap. It is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to train shared or public AI models. Aggregated, non-identifying product metrics (for example: number of briefings generated) may be used to improve the service.

Where it is stored

Account data, message metadata, generated briefings, and uploaded strategy documents are stored in Syve's managed database hosted on Lovable Cloud infrastructure, protected by row-level access controls so only your account can read your data. Access tokens for your Microsoft and Google accounts are encrypted at rest.

Subprocessors

Syve relies on the following processors to run the service:
  • Lovable — application hosting, managed database, and AI gateway.
  • Microsoft — Graph API for Outlook mail and calendar access.
  • Google — Calendar API for scheduling.
  • LLM providers — large-language-model APIs accessed through the Lovable AI gateway to generate briefings, drafts, and answers. Content sent to these APIs is not used to train their models.

Retention and deletion

You can disconnect an account or delete your Syve account at any time. When you do, associated messages, briefings, and uploaded documents are removed from Syve's active database. Backups are rotated on a rolling window and expire after 30 days.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. Email michael@syve.app with your request and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

When this policy materially changes, the "last updated" date above will change and, if you have an active account, you will be notified by email before the change takes effect.
